Travelling: Whether travelling in the car or by plane, minimise your sitting time to prevent joint stiffness. Regular service station stops and walks up and down the aeroplane aisle will help to keep your joints mobile and reduce pain.
Baggage: Take care moving your bags as they can be surprisingly heavy! Lift with both hands, move your feet to avoid twisting and keep items close to your body to prevent unnecessary strain.
Hotel Beds: Sleeping in a different bed is enough to aggravate aches and pains. Ensure that you continue all stretching regimes to avoid set-backs whilst away.
Sun Loungers: We all want an even tan but lying on your front for prolonged periods of time is not good for your low back or neck. Take regular movement breaks and remember, the best way to get an even tan is through walking in the sun.
Sunburn: A sure fire way to ruin a good holiday! Ensure you apply high factor sun cream regularly and stay hydrated all day long!
